November: Scrubbies
November's WIPP is Scrubbies. It has been a while since I made scrubbies for washing dishes. About ten years ago Scrub Yarns came out, and they make the most wonderful scrubbies to wash dishes, wipe down counters, etc.
Scrubbies was often requested for by my Mother. For some reason she preferred them to be red. On one of the many trips with my Mother when she made her annual visit we went to Stevenspoint, WI. On that trip we went to see a marvelous exhibition about John Muir at UW-Stevenspoint. While in Stevenspoint we stop in at Herrschners. Mother had to make sure I brought some Red Scrubby Yarn to make some red scrubbies.
I brought the Stitchin Crochet Pro Font from Adiprints to help me design patterns using my skills as a Graphic Artist. Which I used on the below pattern. Excuse the roughness of the graphics. It has been a while since I used Adobe Illustrator.
This pattern was designed by me in tribute to my Mother.
If you have any suggestions on how I can improve on writing this pattern, please feel free to tell me.
Hope everybody has a Safe and Pleasant Thanksgiving and Holiday Season.
